Default Obama grants Holder's request for executive privilege on 'Furious' documents

When does the law enforcer become the law breaker?

President Obama has granted an 11th-hour request by Attorney General Eric Holder to exert executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents, a last-minute maneuver that appears unlikely to head off a contempt vote against Holder by Republicans in the House.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is expected to forge ahead with its meeting on the contempt resolution anyway.

Yes, it seems like Fox News is the only one reporting on this...

Okay, did another check and it looks like the other news channels are picking up the story...

Disgraceful. I wonder what they are hiding? Most transparent admin... Right.

3, 2, 1... Waits for Obama to blame Republicans...

So what's next? Surely it won't stop with just a contempt vote.

MS/NBC has also picked up the story.

At this point, I really cannot fathom how anyone can give Obama their vote for a second term. I could see possibly writing in someone who has no chance, simply as a symbolic "protest vote", but this current POTUS does not deserve anyone's vote, no matter what their political/ideological persuasion is.

Humm, Guess we need to get use to hearing "President Romney". Still a lot can happen by November. I wonder if there will be a high under vote?

I wish we had a better pool of presidential candidates.

    x2

This administration is acting as sketchy as Nixon's admin during Watergate. Issa might have hooked a big fish here.

Don't know why this is shocking to many people, and am just waiting on more race cards to be dropped on the table. What will surprise me is if this actually goes anywhere.

Sadly, Romney is mediocre at best, and IMO the only reason he's the GOP contender is because he faced a bunch of idiots in the primaries. I can totally see him blowing it, as Kerry did in 2004.

I'll hold my nose and vote against Obama, because there is no way to get enthusiastic about Romney...but I'm just blown away by the shenanigans the DOJ under Holder has been doing, and then the last minute attempt to pull an imperial president executive move like this...reeks of collusion and coverups at the highest levels of this admin.

X2 I would rather have boring and predictable than corruption.
