I wonder what happens to all of the surplus ACU's and multicams after the Army changes it's camo yet again.
I find this video somewhat informative and hilarious:

Nice kit. I have to buy mine unless I want to deploy in a vintage WW2 era equipment. This in a big european NATO country..
I don't know how they could possibly call those knee pads improved. Every pair I was ever issued either disintegrated after taking a knee or were instantly chucked into the trashcan just outside of CIF. 20 minutes after that I'd be on my way back to the barracks $25 lighter and a brand new set of Alta Superflex knee pads in my duffel bag. The IOTV sucked. The MOLLE vest was a waste of time. And those stupid elbow pads were for privates and over-zealous 2LT's. FTA.
Is this given to every soldier? I've seen pics of females (obviously pogs) all loaded out in the barracks posing with all this thrash on.
Fudge Elbow pads and he issue knee pads. I only wear one Alta Flex Knee pad on my right knee, and only during qualification. Other than that, knee pads are just as useless as elbow pads on patrol. And fudge the FLC.
The pattern is called UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern)....just sayin'.
What's up with this ****ty attached angels wings on the IOTV?
