Hopefully pilot is ok. I cannot imagine what would happen had Syrian AA downed it because they thought that it´s another defector.

(*******) - Turkey said on Friday it had lost contact with a military aircraft while it was over the sea off the southeastern province of Hatay, which borders Syria.
CNN Turk television said the aircraft had crashed in Syria. There was no immediate official confirmation of that report.
In a statement, Turkey's military said a search and rescue operation was underway after it lost radar and radio contact with the plane after it took off from Erhac Airport in the eastern province of Malatya.
Al-Myadeen TV Channel: Syrian Air Defenses drop a Turkish war jet in Ras Al-Baseet area
oooh oooo !
Oh, boy. Turks can easily use that as casus belli.
Syria would not dare shoot down a Turkish plane, either Mechanical or Pilot error..
If the plane was really downed by Syrian air-defence Turks will claim that it was over Turkish territory and Syrians that over Syrian. In other words - popcorn time!
I dont think Syrian AA shot down plane i believe Assad cant be that much retard also kind of situation will be reported from Radars at Hatay province (we have Hawk batteries and Radar there) i hope pilots are alive honestly i dont give any **** about plane.First terror attack now this.
As my grandfather said
**** to trouble if a trouble wont come after another trouble.
Circle represent where plane disappeared clearly there is Turkish Air Space,Erdogan was going to Istanbul but right now he is going to Ankara btw.
Read somewhere that it is F-16 but I doubt it. This will get messy.
Also there was that talk earlier in the day of 3 Turkish planes entering Syrian airspace.
