^^As long as they don't shoot down a defecting plane, Syria is hardly flying any planes in the area, even without the grounding of their air force.

Syria is flying helicopters in that area as large parts of northen Aleppo and Idlib province are out of their control. They grounded only fighters jets, not helos.
Do you understand what a "victory" for US/Western interests is? If you think victory is measured by destruction and body bags, I suggest you examine the political and economic situation we find ourselves in.
You mean a war that cost 3+k dead US soldiers, added trillions to the US debt and installed a pro-Iranian Shia-majority government is a "win"?In case you haven't noticed almost every organzied (And secular) Arab state is now in the garbage heap.
Iraq - Done
Replacing a puppet the followed US dictates and maintained the peace with Israel is also a win... considering that the democratically elected Muslim Brotherhood in coming to power!Egypt - Done
The only example of a former adversary believing the saber-rattling, giving up all WMDs, and cooperating in all Western demands... done in favor of Islamic extremists.Lybia - Done
Yes, a devil we know will be out in favor of a new one.Syria - On its way out the door.
I think you're clearly ignoring the strategic developments and focusing on the tactical. In all of the "victories" you mentioned above the extremist Islamic elements have gained considerable power. Terrorist networks have been able to form and now constitute a new threat. Religious minority groups (like Christians) are being persecuted. And for all the killing done in the region, the population is still greatly expanding as is the Arab population in the US and Europe (where they will seek a greater political voice). There isn't an Arab state left that can stand up to Israel or Iran.
Strategic. And I'm sure that Israel will also long for the day when it was surrounded by dictators who were more concerned about staying in power and oppressing their people, then populist fundamentalists that are calling for its destruction. So what victories were you talking about again?

So Turkey has deployed Hawk XXI with reported range of 30km and Atilgan with 8km range..Eh.. Enough for the Border with Syria.. It'll be 2017 before Turkey gets anything more advanced..
Enlighten us on what ideology you are referring. If you think it's "bull****" that Mubarak remaining in power was to the benefit of the US and Israel (compared to having the "democratic" MB) then feel free to be ecstatic about the "Arab Spring" that is unfolding in the region. Strategically the fundamentalists are winning whether we like it or not.
