I'm surprised they haven't changed the rules for basketball. We sandbag the **** out of it, and before using NBA players we still rolled everyone except the SU on occasions. Because they cheated.

No one is preventing anything...but claiming that is internationally relevant...there is fvcking stretch. I have no problem, but we already have rules-heavy, infrastructure nightmarish, day-long sports in the Olympics. If that regional, american driven sport is your cup of coke, what ever, it simply is not a global sport. Not that it would sink...
Hundreds of amateurs? The fvck did you saw that? In Europe there are hardly 100 000 practitionners.

In order for a country to produce even one player competing at MLB standards, he had to have grown up with decently competitive play in order to develope. That means hundreds, not a club of 3 or 4.
And yes it is internationally relevant by olympic standards. Synchronized swimming? Table Tennis? Handball? Badminton? Give me a fvcking break.
And yes, when the committee says an event is no longer part of the Olympics, they are preventing the competition from taking place.
Olympic are overated. Rather have a wank.
The fact the these Olympics are organised by the UK totally ruins the whole experience.
That is fine sir, if that is your opinion sir. We will meet you on any field, of any game, yours or ours sir.

Whats your issue with these sports? Do you even have an idea how highly competetive they are? Maybe you dont like them, but thats kinda your own issue. I myself love Table Tennis, Handball and Badminton, they are among my most favorite sports. I play Table Tennis and Badminton myself.
