I have enjoyed them quite a bit.

Looking forward to the closing ceremony!
I'm actually quite sad to see the games end. It's been a great advert for our country, and a real party atmosphere at times.
Yet again I've been compelled to appreciate that London is a truly truly great city.
I have enjoyed them quite a bit.
It's only America that uses total as opposed to No. of Golds.
If ever there was a time for a sniper to hit the games.... this is it.![]()
[that was in response to the scrotes from One Direction taking the stage, before anyone reports me to MI5]
I like how they don't even use British cars, BMW, Mercedes a Ford Focus
The opening ceremony was fine a bit eccentric all about British history but this?
Go by Gold medals, then Silver, then Bronze
Shamelessly nicked from the BBC. For anyone still wondering, if Yorkshire was independant they'd be 12th, with 7 Golds and more Silver than Kazakhstan
Most seem to use Gold prioritised. A few use total medals. Some blend the two and apply points, where Gold is 5, Silver 3, Bronze 1.
Panic over.
I thought it was just a concert. Clearly not.

We actually do here also, it's just that it makes the silver and bronze medalists feel bad to not be included....![]()
The most honest reaction to NOT winning Gold I've seen was from the Chinese diver last night when Boudia beat him. If he spoke English he would have yelled "FUCK!!!!!!!"
A few months ago I saw Elbow perform 'One Day Like This' at a festival whilst the sun was setting.
I'm not even a big fan but it was fucking glorious - excellent choice.
16th. Better than Best Korea, worse than Cuba. Seems about right.
Ray Davies might be getting old and tired, but Waterloo Sunset is still the most beautiful song in history.
Thank you London, and Great Britain for a great Olympics.
