It's a new concept and I am all about it, no matter how many earthquakes or evironmental damage it may cause. I think it's a chance we should take. It may be cheaper than going over seas to get that oil. So far the midwest hasn't had a large traumatic earth quake. Some poeple, but not the majority, live in fear of a New Madrid line fracturing.
I'm surprised they haven't declared a major war on fracking yet to be honest. Such a cause may also be a perfect opportunity to declare a war on big insurance. Just my 2 random pennies.
I live in a state that is 8th plus largest oil and natural gas producing entity in the U.S and I don't believe, as a state we have capitalized/utilized our full potential to be a leading example of energy. We really could be a perfect example of "clean" energy or oil.
