Default Why is the "American" turn signal on their cars red?

Its retarded, you cant see if someone is gonna change lanes or if they just have their driving lights on or are braking for a sec.
Even worse when you have the sun in your back, then you cant see the signal at all.
Go with orange blinkers, dont be stupid..

Also, why in hell are all door knobs round? How are you supossed to open them when you have your hands full?
    also retarded..

Last I looked, ours are yellow, not red. The brake lights are red.

Americans in germany annoy me with their imported cars with red turnsignals. Buy a real car with real turn signals!

And on the subject, I just returned from Africa, where I had to learn driving on the "wrong" side. The physical act of driving was easy enough to adapt, but could never get my subconcious to fully accept that the turn signal was on the opposite side too. So I was still turning on my windshield wipers instead of my turn signal! Then, had to literally stop the first time I was driving my truck after returning, and make a conscious decision on which side of the road I was supposed to be driving. My brain was screaming in confusion, lol.

Some cars have red blinkers some have amber blinkers, but it never made a difference to me. The most important is for the driver to use the blinkers properly. What difference does it make if the right turn signal is flashing in red or amber color? And even if brake lights are on, they don't interfere with blinkers. P.S. Red color is "strongest" during direct sunlight, they actually have several studies on color usage in signals and emergency vehicles.

Cut out all of that logic. Its foreign so its wrong! Americans do it wrong! Rabblerabblerabble real cars rabble rabble
The fact is they could be purple or white or whatever other color and people will always take the simple act of driving and mess it up. It has nothing to do with colors or nationalities.

It has everything to do with colours if 98% of the cars have yellow turnlights, which makes red turnlights sometimes confusing.

American knobs are too short and stubby. A solid tug with a firm grip is out of the question.

Look, America. just accept that you were wrong to leave the British Empire, return to driving on the left and all will be well.

I use my turn signals to fake out those behind me and I put butter on round door knobs.

Is there any reason why door knobs would be better than handles? Because I can't come up with any.

    Edit: ^^That's a good one.

Some vehicles are red, like the newer Mustangs, but majority of blinkers are orange dude.

Also not all door openers are "knobs" at least in my place they are all handles thank you very much. You are visiting Texas, that place is its own entity.
