I think it's fighting a battle with the wannabe beard - not a real beard, but a face of wispy, patchy hair.
The goatee is still fashionable amongst us in our mid-40's, working as security guards and losing the battle with the beer gut and double chin, who want to conceal our lack of fitness as best as possible.....

This is pretty much the same thing as the 5.11 concealment shirts, except the 5.11 version is a much heavier stretchy mesh fabric. They are available in white and black. Like I said, they print badly even when you wear an unbuttoned shirt over them.

Carhartt FTW. The moss dungaree pants you have, are my fave, got at least 6 pair. Under 40 bucks each, made in Mexico and last many years of hard daily use.
Carhartt is as tacticool as i get.
