Hark; are you sure that this tank is fitted with the Sosna (Sosna-U) sight for the gunner? Normally with the Sosna primary sight, you can see the two-channel optics (one thermal and one daylight), at the front/external part of the sight. In the pic I've attached here, it looks like there is a singe channel only (thermal), thus still requiring the gunner to use his standard daylight primary sight. If that is a single-channel sight, and based on the known configuration of the ESSA thermal sight, I'm thinking that this is actually an ESSA thermal sight and not a Sosna (Sosna-U) integrated sight.
