So far I have only seen the first part and all I can say is wow, talk about a black and white depiction of reality.

"Palestinians are never packing"... I guess the ammunition and guns we supplied the Palestinian security forces in order to uphold security in the Palestinian Authority and then used to kill our soldiers and civilians is a figment of our imagination.

As for the entire West Bank being "slated for a Palestinian state", that's a blatant lie as the future of the West Bank is still up for negotiations regardless of the Oslo Accords.

Saying that Palestinian never carry firearms is a very general and all inclusive statement that is clearly meant to present a certain image.

Palestinians are not Israeli citizens so of course firearm policies will be different between them and settlers. Don't know about any gun restrictions imposed by Israel on the Palestinian Authority but either way the Paelstinians don't seem to care about gun restrictions.

And the video is incorrect. International law still protects Jewish self-determination in the West Bank and Gaza. There is no legal binding international law that gives the Palestinians rights to the West Bank.

No such thing as unbiased journos. The best you can do is get clearly biased ones and use your own judgement. These Vice guys are certainly a little low class and coarse, but they will go places "real" newsies won't. I like them. But that doesn't mean I believe everything that everyone in their videos says.

As to guns in the hands of Palestinian citizens: they are too poor to buy them for the most part. And I think it is obvious that however many they do have, it is far less than the Israeli citizenry, who are among the most armed in the world.

News reports and documentaries about the West Bank and specifically about the settlers are probably the most cliche and unchallenging topic out there. I'm not arguing that they shouldn't be done but there's certainly nothing groundbreaking about such items or a lack of coverage of this subject.

Its even beyond this. In the first video there was very little factual evidence even stated. The journalist was practically dismissing the jewish presence in the region in replacement of the 'Palestinian". Just another film trying to paint Israel in the negative light.
