Aboot the only news worth thing to happen in Canada today eh?

I would say that the fisherman are lucky that the orcas didn't try to knock the seal off the boat.

I would have thrown the Seal back in the ocean, I know how to pick the winning side on this game and an alliance is important. As a sign of good faith Im sure the Orcas will remember this.

I disagree! We should not be appeasing the Orcas. Their reign of terror must be confronted, not aided. We must declare our solidarity with Sealkind! Have we learned nothing from history? In the words of Winston Churchill: ""Appeasement is like feeding the Orcas a Seal in hopes that they will eat you last." We must not treat the Seals as we did Czechoslovakia. Never again!

It's because you see the Orcas as aggressors, are the Orcas infringing on human rights? No! They stay the **** on their lane. Now how many people floating in the ocean could have been saved by Orcas if they knew we were friends? A lot. An Orca on your side means no sharks! What will a SEAL do? Offer itself to be eaten by a shark instead of you? I think not. Dolphins are rapists so its really just the Orcas.

I never understood why Orcas never attack humans. I mean whats the difference between a human and a seal? Similar size, similar meat, similar skin.
Either Orcas are very stupid or very clever, not sure yet.

The seal was definity relying on the handouts of others, while the Canadians deprived the hardworking orcas of their deserved meal.

I would go with intelligence. Which would you rather have some gangly creature with little meat on it and bony limbs sticking out at weird angles (not to mention this unappetizing second skin that goes over it), or would it be this nice lump of fat and meat?
There have been cases of attack, but it was because the person was right around where seals were, but once the orca saw that it wasn't a seal, it would not continue.
