    To none extent, and as the problems are not "alleged" but real (regardless of the reason) it only goes to show how far off the chart the comparison is.

    So why am I responding with a line-for-line quote? Because there's no point to generalizing answers, like the kind who mentions the war every time it sees fit. History doesn't repeat itself. Since Popper we've known that for a fact, even though few would listen. And they didn't want to listen because "mentioning the war", that is invoking an argument that seems to necessarily carry truth within, is such a goddamn handy substitute for a real point whenever intellect and/or will are not enough to make one's own.

    I'm contemptuous of it. So in the end my response would be - don't mention the war while you're not talking about wars.
