Default German police in Afghanistan posing

Hope, this is the right place to post this:

    http://www.welt.de/politik/deutschla...rkommando.html

There is rumor about a picture, showing german police security forces, posing infront of the german embassy in Kabul.
They should be armed with AKs etc. .

German home office wanted to charge all police, involved in this picture, but they said that none of the people could be identified.

None of the german news showed the actual photo.
Does anybody here know, what photo they were talking about?

I am curious, because german politics are in most cases very sensitive about those things.
Just wanted to see what they are talking about.

    Have a nice sunday!

    The link isn't working.
As for the picture, the description sounds so awefully bathetic that I wonder what the fuss is all about.

Just the political correctness crowd running mad again.

I'd rather you hadn't posted this.

Bundespolizisten posierten als "Killerkommando" (ger. German Federal Policemen pose as "killer team").

The headline alone makes me want to throw up. Posing "menacingly" with weapons and a Jolly Roger = killer commandos?

    Link is now fixed, sorry.

Just the political correctness crowd running mad again.
    I think so, too.
But I wanted to see the picture myself to make my own judgement.

The picture will show up eventually.. probably on the front page of Bild with a sensationalist headline.

I find it interesting choice of content for your first posting? you are not by any chance hoping that any of our members might have pictures that could be used to i.d. the policemen in question, so you can score points?

At worst they could be mistaken for "Airsofters"

Sure you should not post anything that would give away information about their identities.

Same rules as for SF Pictures etc., I guess.

    Don't give them any ideas.
I know a German board similiar to this, albeit much smaller in size, where Germany's military counter intelligence office MAD used to "read along".

Sure you should not be coming on here, particularly as a newbie looking for any info then?

Are you actually surprised? It's an open source you can surveil without too much human recources. Gaining intelligence among people with a certain knowledge has never been so easy.

Used to be. Nowadays it has just become very one-dimensional for me, sometimes even plain boring. Not surprised about the MAD, though. I'd do the same.

Well, there are a lot of people at that place who just love to go all-out 37/10 on every picture posted.
