Default Rafale Crash during exercice with US Navy

This afternoon (14h03) a French Navy Rafale (# M24) crashed during an air combat training with some F-18 from the USS Eisenhower. The pilot eject safely and was rescued by the US Navy SAR chopper, then send back to the CdG Carrier.

At this time there is no explanation for the crash (pilot error or mechanical malfunction).

Didn't hear about it in french news... But I wasn't paying attention anyway...

Good thing he ejected safely !

My brother couldn't be a pilot because he was too tall, and ejecting would shatter his legs. I guess saying speedy recovery is appropriate even if it's minor.

Good that the pilot was unhurt, an ejection is nothing you want to do every day...
