Default Jobless young people in Portugal told to look abroad

As jobless rates continue to soar in Portugal, the country’s Prime Minister has angered many by declaring that young people without a job should show more initiative and seek employment abroad.

Portugal’s prime minister has been free with his advice to the legions of young and unemployed in his country. They should “show more effort” and “leave their comfort zone” by looking for work abroad. Teachers unable to find a job at home should think about emigrating to Angola or Brazil.

Nice! Imaging a second every government following the same logic...

edit: Imagine Obama telling young jobless Americans to go look for jobs in China

Don't really see a problem with that. Immigrating to either Brazil or Angola is not that bad for a Portuguese, they speak the same language in those countries.

All I can say is skilled and educated young workers are welcome in Alberta. Just when you start voting, please don't do so in a way that replicates the govt's and policies that screwed up your home countries.

I'm not sure the Canadian government wants Europeans to immigrate here anymore.

About 100 years ago, Switzerland even paid its citizens to move to other countries.

I hope you're joking. So Greece is in a little bit of trouble and you want Greeks to abandon their country for good? That's silly.

This is a contradiction. They can't be skilled and educated and young
If young person doesn't have a job, most likely he/she never had one in the first place. So no skills, and either no good education or education was forgotten because of absence of skills use.
    Lose-lose scenario.

And as I heard since crisis many countries decreased immigration quotas for big percent. Nobody wants foreign jobless people to increase your own jobless people.
