Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is two AMRAAMs...a certain member, Slowman, swore the F-35 couldn't carry two internally in each of it two bays.

Greece shouldn't be needing a military bailout.

But it might be good idea to resurrect the ancient notion of Greek mercenaries - hired out by the battalion, or army corps, to fight battles for the highest bidder. Other than that, what's the use of all the drills and manoeuvres?

Unless there's an insurgency raising its head.

The whitish one (which looks more like an Anti Radiation missile) would stop that bay door from closing if it wan't attached to it. Ingenious, eh? But maybe it's for publicity purposes. Like the pretty patterns on that dummy aamraam,.

Is that your expert opinion? I am sure Lockheed Martin slaps on random missiles every which way just for ****s and giggles.

Like the pretty patterns on that dummy aamraam,.
It says right there in the photo description that the markings are part of a high speed camera system allowing them to take accurate measurements during each drop. Are you trolling?

Negative, that's typical wind-shear induced contrail through the vertical flight envelope.
At different altitudes the wind blows in different directions and velocities.
The photo shows two separate contrails, separated by time (and wind).

Not sure if you're serious, I was being rhetorical, Commander Shepard had it right and there isn't an anti-radiation missile certify for internal carriage yet for the F-35.
