Default Jon Huntsman, Linda McMahon among Republicans planning to skip GOP convention

Former presidential candidate Jon Huntsman announced Friday that he plans to stay home in protest.
"I will not be attending this year's convention, nor any Republican convention in the future, until the party focuses on a bigger, bolder, more confident future for the United States—a future based on problem solving, inclusiveness, and a willingness to address the trust deficit, which is every bit as corrosive as our fiscal and economic deficits," Huntsman said, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. Huntsman had released his delegates to Mitt Romney and is no longer actively seeking office. But active candidates are making the same decision.

Why didnt he win the nomination again? He wasnt "conservative" enough?

Huntsman wasnt as ultra conservative as santorum nor as radical as paul, arrogant like gingrich, or an etch a sketch like romney.

I was a moderate Republican, and the whole "rino" bullsh!it had a lot to do with my reason for leaving the GOP.

GOP is in suicide mode with geniuses who keep peddling this 'Rino' nonsense and who keep voting in know-nothing retards like Palin and Santorum. Huntsman is the last shred of decency and intellect left in this joke of a party.

If you were hoping Huntsman was going to be the Great Savior, I got a bridge to sell you. As for being trustworthy, he still hadn't articulated what stance he was going to take on the PRC, but judging by his condescension and statements, it probably would have made the Clinton pandering seem mild in contrast. The only thing he had going for him was slick hair, and speaking Mandarin, and inflating his head with his supposed moral superiority.

Jon Huntsman compares the GOP to the Communist Party of China. He's not happy about the political climate at all. So this update doesn't surprise me.

    Both parties are a joke.

......unfortunately, the joke's on us, and it won't be funny when everything implodes because politicians spend more time squabbling and debating bullshyt than fixing what's broken.

Some Democrats who are skipping their convention:
    Sen. Claire McCaskill
    Rep. Nick Rahall,
    Sen. Joe Manchin
    Governor Earl Ray Tomblin
    Rep. Jim Matheson
    Sen. Jon Tester

    Much ado about nothing IMO.

Oh yeah and that makes things so much better. Maybe if both R's and D's would quit justifying their BS because, "The other guy does it" we would all be better off.

2X......................... Real D's and R's should just get together and dump all the extreme whack jobs.

Side note, real D's and R's are first of all, Americans.
