Taliban fire on an American patrol pushing towards their compounds. The camera doesn't pick up all the snaps of incoming fire, but you can hear incoming rounds several times.
Once I saw the team leader order a shot fired in the air, once he did it himself. What was the purpose of that? Showing direction to the rest of the team?
Maybe there is some sound quality issues, but I thought covering fire was to keep up a constant level of fire on the oppo so that people can maneuver.I hear a shot or two going off and a bit of saw but not a lot more.
