Things take a while to playout.....and there are means available to delay, but not prevent the inevitable.

That's the frustrating thing......it's like a car accident in slow motion....I'd prefer to just get it over with and move on to recovery.

And last, a repeal of Obamacare would be all but impossible if Obama gets a second term.
Pushing through "Obamacare" during a crisis such as this was indeed the most stupid idea the man could come up with. With that being said, his overall record must be judged in the knowledge that he didn't just break campaign promises but had to watch helplessly how many got steamrolled by the crisis that caught up with America when he assumed office.

It nearly has a couple of times but shortsighted bailouts have kept things propped up. The powers that be behind the scenes have been robbing Peter to pay Paul for decades but they are running out of road to kick the can down. Look at Greece, got two bailouts, raised taxes yet can't pay their bills, can't pay their employees, can't provide govt services.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with pushing through a piece of legislation during a crisis, even one as weighty as healthcare. The problem is mostly with the contents of legislation itself and not the timing of it's passage.

It's a risky move to acquire an item when you can't tell for sure if you'll be able to afford it. Obamacare would've been better placed on another day's agenda.

Any President, and I mean any, would have done the same thing. How it was managed is a different story.

Obama hired the same Wall Street motherf*ckers that Romney or anyone else would have hired. You goddamned "sky is falling cause Obama is divisive because he makes me hate him" types crack me up. He's a crap manager, but he's not the Manchurian Candidate, and if he cured cancer you'd scream that he didn't actually split the cells himself and he's screwing the unemployment rates by putting all of those researchers out of work...

The answer to Obama is some uber rich prick, that starred as the "wealthy boy" in Porkys? (another 80's reference) Pathetic.
Yeah just keep on with the, "oh noes, they're all the same, why do anything" then, and continue to do nothing. THAT will surely change things.

It's like choosing between who you want standing on the railroad tracks to confront a runaway economic train....Captain American or Batman....it doesn't matter which one you choose.....it all ends the same...run over and turned into historical train wheel grease.
Quiet Heathen, Batman can do anything
