I'm a republican, and I am not planning to vote this year. I can't bring myself to vote for Romney. He's the best we could do?

Ditto. I will vote only if the canidate is a Conservative, Mitt sure as hell isn't. In the end Reps will control the Congress and take the Senate, and Dems will hold the WH.

If those US citizens who post here and say they are not voting this year because they do not like any candidate...would please remember their duty is to vote...akin to "jury duty" and service to your country in the military. If you don't like the way things are in government...express yourself loudly somehow. Write your congressman, or take to the street and protest. But don't just throw up your hands and not vote. I don't care who you vote for, but vote.

"It is your civic duty to choose between smashing your ********s with a hammer or plucking one of your eyes out."

I will just choose "none of the above". I don't like either guy and I won't hold my nose at the voting booth.

Honestly, it's hard to vote when the election is rigged, meaning both canidates share the same idology and only differ in a few areas. Doesn't matter who is elected, we will still go down the same path

    Duke Nukem

CPuffs, its called voting with your conscience.

Even if Obama wins, which is likely, none of us will have failed. We decided not to vote for a man who was utterly incompatible with what we hold dear.

Actually, I kinda want Obama to win.

I plan to write-in. Mitt's an empty suit and I mistrust Obama's 2nd term plans.

Then vote for Obama. Just don't complain about him anymore. I can't wait to see what, "more flexibility after the election" means.

Instead of not voting, do you have the option to vote blank?
