We actually have two political parties who's entire mandate is the addition of a "None of the above" option to ballot papers.

Oh Ill complain if I want to. Just because I didn't vote for Obama-lite doesn't mean I can't complain about Obama.

If you've read some of my more out there prediction posts, I feel whats coming is inevitable. Obama's election merely means it comes sooner.

You have the option of voting for a write-in candidate, which can be whomever you want. Mark Zuckerberg, King Kong, an orange, whatever.

So a "hurry up and get the party rolling" instead of prolonging the inevitable? . . . I could live with that, if that's what actually happened. I think what will happen if wins again though will be he'll take the pain almost, but not quite, to the tipping point, and implement policies that have the effect of keeping it there.

Wah Wah Wah... Somebody call a Wahbulance. You don't get your way so you're not going to play. Fvckin grow up. You have 0 influence if you don't participate. Some elections have been decided on by very few votes so it matters.

I'll more than likely vote for Gov. Romney (can't rule out the chance I'll vote Libertarian when I'm in the booth though). He wasn't my choice in the primary, but I think he might make a decent president.

x2. Mitt is a very mediocre candidate at best. I fear he will lose, as like the 04 elections, I will be voting AGAINST the incumbent, rather for the challenger. There's still a chance I may say "fck it", and not vote at all. Probably the only issue that will lead me to cast my vote is the importance of the next POTUS being able to fill Supreme Court positions......but since Chief Justice Roberts pulled his "it's a tax" with the Obamacare ruling, I wonder if a GOP-nominated Justice will be any different from one appointed by Obama.

I used to share your views. I hate to say it, but my cynicism and disappointments have gotten the best of me, and now I wonder if it really does matter, or if making a statement by not casting a vote might be of more importance. Both major political parties are totally fcked up, and candidates more often than not take the American people for granted, knowing that they'll get votes for "being the lesser of two evils" or through fear and manipulation. There's a part of me that doesn't even want to be a part of it.

A lot of whining in here towards people whining about having to choose between sh*t choices that they know won't make any difference in turning the country around. That thinking made a lot of sense some years ago. Now people should grow up and realize that simply voting for some clowns in a broken system is doing fvckall at this point. But, so it goes. You all can bash me for that, I don't give a sh*t.

My thoughts exactly, both parties spend more time and energy criticizing and slandering the other than finding a joint solution to appeal to all.

In regards of who I'm voting for, I'll guess Romney. A pity Huntsman got eliminated in New Hampshire.

How is not voting making a statement? They count who voted, not who didn't. Furthermore they don't know WHY you didn't vote. For all they know you didn't vote because you were drunk that day.

Why vote for Obama? I'm genuinely curious.
