The higher up has spoken.
If they are not campaigning I don't see why not. I wouldn't, but then I wouldn't wear my uniform to a fast food joint but plenty of folks seem to think thats cool.
That is no place for a uniform.
First gay pride march, next brony convention and Anthrocon.
As a veteran, this just makes me sick. Fvck all that Liberal, touchy-feely, don't oppress my individuality bull sh!t.
Something a older Marine told me. "You don't have to drink with them (socialize ofter hours). You have to work with them, etc. On your own time, it is your call. When he said that it was not about this issue. When the orders come in from the top, that is just the way it is.
If they can wear their Uniform and march in Columbus day parade , Brazilian day parade, India Day parade etc etc .. Why not Pride parade ?
They serve their country and do their bit when in theatre, so why not? reckon they've earned the right to wear it.
Times have changed, you don't have to like it, but when it comes to it who give a f*ck whether the bloke next to you sleeps with Stephany or Stephen, as long as he's doing his job and covering your back.As a veteran, this just makes me sick. Fvck all that Liberal, touchy-feely, don't oppress my individuality bull sh!t.
Oh, here we go. nenenenenenenenene.....![]()
I'm not a US military man, so perhaps I have no right to voice my opinion. But;
While I believe this is just a gesture from some feminists and such, I also think it's a nice gesture. There are gay people in the military, and I believe most of them are doing a good job. They leave their ******ity and such out of the job, and that's alright. And the armed forces is supposed to represent every citizen, not just those with the preferred ******ity.
Correct me if Im wrong, but hasn't the military actually led the way in many of these issues. Women in uniform, integrated units, gays?
