I saw the picture, but can somebody tell me what I am looking at? I see the different shades of green, and that river (?) in there. What is supposed to be the city, the buildings, etc?

This is just a jungle map.
They won't show the actual location or the GPS coordinates, otherwise they would have nothing to research.
Looters in central america are usually better equipped than Archaeologists and would strip the site clean.
