Default Uplifting Discovery - Austrian Archaeologists Find Medieval Bras

In 2008, Austrian archaeologists excavating at a castle in East Tyrol came upon a vault filled with waste that included some 2,700 individual textile fragments. While putting them back together, they made an amazing discovery: They found four bras with cups dating from the 15th century.

The bikini bottoms are actually supposed to be men's underwear.
In the 15th century, men's pants became so tight that the traditional boxer short style underpants (which have been around for ages, at least with germanic peoples) could no longer be worn, hence men wore thongs.
The 15th century was a century of fashion extremes, with tight fitting clothes for both sexes (and extreme headwear)
Knights in plate armor often wore thongs underneath... Weird...

In the 16th century, this underwear was supplemented by fake oversized genitals (codpieces)
