Good idea, I'd like to use the opportunity to claim possession of all territories once under the control of the VOC and WIC. Mind you that would include a few bits and pieces of China too.

Both Mongols and Manchurians were assimilated by Chinese culture within a generation. They became Chinese. The Chinese did not become Mongols or Manchurians. It's like when 2nd generation Mexican immigrants become Americans, not the other way around.
As for Ryukyu Islands, its culture was closer to China (a tributary state) than Japan until 1879, when the islands were annexed by Japan.
