Judging by her breathing that cow is clearly stressed out. The trainer should have spotted it.
We have learned everything there is to know about Blackfish in captivity and there is no reason to keep them except human avarice.
She was not stressed out at the beginning. Her calf, which was in a pool connected to this one, began to scream shortly after the trainer had jumped into the pool which caused the mother to freak out.Originally Posted by boone

Apparently there were numerous other worrying incidents before this one, and some deadly ones with orcas at seaworld after it. Unbelievably irresponsible behaviour from seaworld. I hope they got fined so much that they went bankrupt.
edit. Just read up on wikipedia. Seaworld was recently fined the enormous sum of 12.000 $ after the death of one of their trainers. Ridiculous.
These animals are not called Killer Whales for nothing.
The whole idea of putting them into a basin and making them jump through hoops is stupid.
Animals like these belong into the sea and nowhere else.
I was hoping to see that guy get gored, I want my 15 minutes back!
