Liberated and escaped prisoners of Nordhausen have scattered and given information to both the U.S. Army and Red Army, so a mixed U.S. Army Ranger/OSS/Infantry Armor Task force has been dispatched to run the scientist down. At the same, time, a recon platoon from the 1st Ukrainian Front with an NKVD leader has been sent on the same mission. The bulk of the story takes place after April 20, 1945. In the scene I described earlier, a lone Jagdtiger was waiting in a village south of Nuremberg to ambush the advancing Americans (my TF is tagging along with the 3rd ID). It had a mixed crew of 19 y.o. SS and child HJ. It destroyed a couple of vehicles moving towards the village, then advanced, by itself, towards the Americans. My guys hid in the trees and shot it in the ass with a Panzerfaust. The HJ bailed, but the SS guys refused, so one of the Amis tossed a WP in the back hatch.
