Anyone even heard of this competition before? I can't seem to find a single scrap of information about it.

Most of the international military competition are not well publized, mainly from military news sources.

It's much like the World Boxing Council, the World Boxing Organization, the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation, the WBF (World Boxing Federation), the IBO (International Boxing Organization), the WBU (World Boxing Union) and the IBA (International Boxing Association).

When you don't think you can win, you start your own comp and fill it with easy meat competition.

    Chincom-bot news report.

Had to look for it in Kazakh, there was only 6 country in that great international competition (Jordan, Russia, Ukraine, China, the US and Kazakhstan obviously) represented and China ended up 2nd.

    The podium is:
    1st Kazakhstan Defence Forces.
2nd People Liberation Army of China
    3rd Kazakhstan Presidential Protection Service.

    Arrow

China "dominates" only in state-run Chinese media and China-bot fantasies.

In the real world, Kazakhstan stomped them.
