    On a recent holiday from the U.K. to his home in Transylvaia,

    my veterinarian friend Ionut (John) payed a surprise visit to my home, he presented me with this item:-

    The missing badge is probably related to the Expeditionary Air Wing.

    E.G. '406 EAW' Light blue embroidery on a Navy blue rectangular field.

    P.S. Any news on the U.N. Flag I sent about 2 years ago ?

    Hi Arfah,

    thanks for the info, sorry to say it still M.I.A., I must say that my own experiences with the Romanian Postal Service has been 100% anything sent so far from abroad has always arrived here, International packets are date stamped by Romanian post from the moment they enter into Romania.

    Anything sent out (I am a Ebayer) have all arrived at there destination, example: Romanian Communist Period Coca-Cola bottles to Japan, Romanian Train Tickets to Argentina, Romanian Royal & Communist Medals to USA, U.K. Germany. etc.. etc..)

    Arfah is correct, it is for the EAW badge....
