Default Michelle Martin to be paroled

Fury as ex-wife of Belgian paedophile killer Marc Dutroux is paroled to convent

Michelle Martin, the ex-wife and accomplice of the notorious Belgian paedophile killer Marc Dutroux has been granted a conditional release from prison to serve the rest of her sentence in a convent.

She is expected to enter the sisters of Clare convent within days to serve the rest of her sentence "in prayer" but will not be allowed to live within a 62 mile radius of her and Dutroux’s victims.

A Belgian court on Tuesday authorised Martin’s release after accepting her application for parole last year. Prosecutors and the relatives of victims will have 15 days to appeal.

Dutroux was jailed for life in June 2004 for the kidnap and rape in the 1990s of six young and teenaged girls, four of whom were murdered.

The announcement of her release has angered the parents of her and Dutroux’s victims.

“We still know nothing of the release plan,” said Jean-Denis Lejeune, the father of Julie, an eight year old girl raped and murdered by Dutroux.

15 years for her part in the gruesome crimes of her husband, while he was in prison in 1995 she let two girls starve to death in her basement. And she knew about all the others.

We gave Karla Homolka a free University education and reduced sentence and she was 50% of Paul Bernardo's *** and killing spree. Even let him rape and kill her sister. Canada sets the best example for punishment... :/

:/ Not much other than a comment to the OP that we had a case in which the 'suspect/witness' served time and then was released.

*Read "pedophile killer" at the top* That can mean one of two things.

*Read the rest* Nope, it's the bad kind.

Released into a life of prayer. That makes everything whole again.

Not yet, movements have been made against letting her free- in thirty days we will know for sure.
