Will Armata have a 2 or 3 man crew , Since crew was suppose to be isolated from Turret where will the 3rd crew sit in there ?

What are advantages and disadvantages of the Armata Design , Seems top protection for crew will be lower compared to putting them inside the turret ?

There are 3 crew members in their capsule in hull.

And what makes You think that they are less protected over top than in classic design? Unmanned turret gives better possibilities to improve hull protection.

BTW AFAIK Alexei Khlopotov said it is not UVZ "Armata" platform but a different, probably competing project of different design bureau.

Boomerang concept looks very similar to Finnish Patria AMV.

Oh it's just a turret, then cool tank. Wonder when we will start seeing these next gen designs.

If ruskies build that thing in the next few years, I'm going to dress up as a VDV trooper and dance in a fountain in the middle of my hometown.

Looks like something from the Spice Mureeens!

The Gatling gun could be some kind of anti-missile/bomb CIWS.
However, there have been multiple attempts to introduce a large caliber secondary weapon and none of them ever caught on, most notably the 20mm cannon of the early Centurions.

A CIWS that you need to turn the turret to aim?
