Agreed. The point is, this is fighting from a position of weakness. If Obama was in a position of strength, he would be trumpeting his record; something he obviously cannot do.

I think the critical turning point is going to be the debates. If Romney cannot hold his ground there, he will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (something the Repubs seem quite good at). Conversely, if he can successfully hammer Obama in the debates, I think he will win.

Both are not setting the hills on fire with rhetoric and ostentatious speeches at the moment it's like watching Big Brother lots of talk no content.
The debates are going to be interesting but I have a feeling both are going touch very lightly on the economy and unless Mitt regains the confidence he had at the start (he was bubbling with it) I have a feeling Mr O is going to breeze it.

Quit whining, it's not like anyone questioned where he was born. Ad nauseum...That would just be crazy.

Harry Reid and Mitch McConnel remind me of kiddie fiddlers. Pelosi is Cruella DeVille, Boehner is some weird orange freak that cries almost as much as Glenn Beck.

I cannot believe that Romney would 'touch lightly on the economy' when he knows it is his only chance to win. That is not to say he will clean Obama's clock. Barry is, if nothing else, a charismatic and eloquent speaker. I normally do not bother watching political debates, but I will be watching these ones.

Another thing is that I hope Romeny's staff is smart enough not to agree to have the debate controlled by a repugnant little hack like George Stephanopolous this time around. Also, I will be very disappointed if Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate is excluded from the debates.

Too bad you do not have computer animation skills. I would love to see you produce an animated satirical video about what goes on in D.C.

This. I think when it comes down to it all people will want someone who has real life experience in leadership. Not some bum off the streets. When November rolls around many more people will be waiting in the soup lines and the economy will be in an even worse condition that it is now. People will really want or force a "change".

I will only be tuning in to see how this great orator gets by trying to not gaffe. Remember when Palin wrote on her hand and there was a big fuss? This guy's gonna need time to flip through his biblical sized stack of "What to say" notes. What will be even more funny is watching people debate "Oh he didn't mean that or it was taken out of context".

That would be nice but then the media might only give him 10 seconds to answer

I think these polls that are being put out showing a close race are complete and total bull$hit. Romney lead is bigger than what the mainstream media wants to report. The left is in panic mode.

You're not being trolled. I just want to tell me what happens if and when you decide not to follow laws you find ridiculous.

What does "Not pay any taxes" mean anyways today? That sounds as logical as "pay their fair share".

Does it mean hes a tax evader where he doesn't file his tax returns? Does he not pay federal and state taxes?

Or does it mean hes a smart guy with his money like anybody who has alot of money and can "write off" as much as he would be taxed thus still paying taxes?

who said that anyone including myself were not following any laws?

there's a difference between criticizing a law and not following it right?

Here's an example: are people criticle of the gun laws? If so do you see alot of people actively trying to break them? No. Alot of them are just criticizing the law, and not breaking them.

He was gov of MA, I would expect no less, but with a Republican controlled House and Senate, one won't make it's way to his desk....
