Something similar happened to my dad. He used to work as a Fleet Manager over at MTA in Downtown. One day, the yard manager found one of the workers sleeping in a bus that was scheduled for maintenance, and was sitting in the lot out of use. The yard manager reported the worker, and he was sent home on paid leave because he had had prior write ups before.

So, this guy was pretty pissed for some reason and went home, and then came back the next day at 4 AM at the start of his shift. At this time all the buses are sitting out in the yard on idle unattended sitting ready for their drivers that leave at the 4:15 shift. So this guy jumps in a bus, and takes off out of the bus lot towards the workers parking area. He deliberately slammed into a line up of cars at 45 mph and smashed 12 of them like an accordion into each other, including my dads car.

Guy lost his job obviously, and got, if I recall correctly, 18 years.

And my dad got a new car.

Pff... the people these days and their wild guesses - calling a man unhappy only because he destroyed 7 vehicles.

The description given from the article kinda eludes that the farmer probably has a few bucks and plows a few rows. It aint some typical backwoods fat @ss American suburban farmer with a small tractor used to plow his 4 rows of corn in his backyard.
Those little tractors are what the day-player hobby farmers use around here.

The farmers that mean business use Steigers and Versatiles. Great big 300+ horsepower articulated monsters.

BTW, they add the extra wheels so that they don't tip over/lose traction while going across the sidehills... and it's all sidehills.

Lord help the state patrol if a palouse farmer got peeved at them.

I don't even like Case tractors. I'm more of a JD and International kinda guy. I'm such a backwoods noob I had to pull out my oldskewl Tractor Encyclopedia for these foreign names. Those tractors are beasts. As ugly as they are good thing they have alot of horsepower . Would love to see a tractor pull turned farmer range with one of these suckers.

This is clearly a case of justified outrage: The Orleans County SWAT team wears camouflage uniforms!
