    Bought a pair of Peltor and they are fitted with a boom mic and a PTT. Only thing is that have no ideé what type of radio it fits in. Bought them from a surplusmarket, they are orginally used by the Swedish Armed Forces.

    Looks a lot like the radio connection in a US M-1117 Armored Security Vehicle (ASV), but our headphones were made by Bose.
    Of course, all military radio connections might look similar, in fact they might even be universal, but I wouldn't really know because the ASV is the only military vehicle I've ever driven that had headsets. On trucks and Humvees we just used our cell phones.

    The Gunners on CB90s use those. They plug it in to out on the deck to the boats interior radio system.

    Yes I agree with your think. Same the idea was in my mind.
