    Don't be so sure.
Two days ago, the US Embassy in Tel-Aviv sent a warning to US citizens in Sinai:

    August 3, 2012
U.S. citizens are encouraged to take precautions in travel to the Sinai. There have been multiple kidnappings in the Sinai of U.S. citizens over the past four years, and kidnappings of foreign tourists in the Sinai have increased since January 2012. In May 2012, two U.S. citizens were kidnapped and released a day later; in July 2012, two U.S. citizens were kidnapped and released a few days later. While thus far all known foreign kidnap victims in 2012 have been released unharmed, the danger of overland travel in the Sinai is significant. Overland travel from Israel to the Sinai in particular is strongly discouraged. U.S. government personnel are currently prohibited from traveling to the Sinai, except by air to Sharm El Sheikh. Overland travel by U.S. government employees anywhere in the Sinai outside of Sharm El Sheikh is prohibited.
U.S. citizens contemplating travel to Sinai should be aware of the risks. They should consult the Country Specific Information for Egypt and the latest Travel Alerts and Warnings before undertaking travel there. U.S. citizens are reminded to exercise caution and take appropriate measures to ensure their safety and security while traveling in this region, and should monitor local news sources to find the latest information on the situation, as it can change unexpectedly.

U.S. citizens traveling abroad should regularly monitor the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website, where the current Worldwide Caution, Travel Warnings, Travel Alerts, and Country Specific InformationU.S. citizens are also encouraged to review "A Safe Trip Abroad", which includes valuable security information for those both living and traveling abroad..

Hopefully MB doesn't try to blame Israel for instead and makes a concentrated effort to restore law and order in the Sinai.

The Egyptians are stating that this was a joint operation between Islamist elements in the Sinai and the Gaza Strip.

Curious to see how Morsi will react to this.

    "ihe beseder" attitude

This must've been planned for long, long months. IDF's spokesman released a message saying that the intel about this was pretty specific, but still props to the IDF/IAF for the fast response time on taking these sh*tbags out, well done.

    RIP to the soldiers.

Who wants to bet that the Egyptian street will blame it on a Mossad false flag operation?

IDF attacked the Egyptians, Al Qaeda rushed to defend them!

I mean, this tragedy should be a wakeup call to the MB/Morsi as to who their real enemies are. But I doubt it will.

Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi called for an urgent meeting with the country's military council on Sunday, the Muslim Brotherhood's party said on its Facebook page, after an attack on a police station in North Sinai killed at least 15 policemen.

Egyptian security sources said the attackers had used a stolen police vehicle to launch the assault - which took place on the border between Egypt and Israel - and had fired live ammunition at police officers at the station.

Israel said the attack was staged by a group of militants who had commandeered two Egyptian vehicles and driven them through a crossing on the Egyptian-Israeli border.

Fire exchanges erupted between unknown masked men and Egyptian border guard commissioned to secure the Kharouba security checkpoint, east of the city of Sheikh Zoweid which is situated 20 kilometers away from the border between Egypt and Gaza in northern Sinai.
These clashes erupted a few hours after the execution of a suicidal attack on Egyptian troopers deployed at Egypt's border with the besieged Gaza Strip

    RIP to the soldiers.

The region is increasingly become a mess.

I hope the Egypt and Israel come closer as a result of this sad incident and nail the ba#tards who had a hand in this - not just the perps that carried out the attack but also those who planned, supplied trained etc
