Israel and norway ?
Hey , i am a new member , my hobby is to compare countries and see which one is more likely to win in a war , i like all countries so it's not a matter of why I hate that country , just a little harmless hobby of mine ... but sadly i am not an expert i do know few stuff but not enough to decide who's better , so i will provide you with the details and hope you can answer .
Lets say Israel and Norway are now neibhbors , Israel from the south and Norway from the north , the climate is not really that extreme , it rains once every two weeks and it's usually warm but the temprature drops a little at night ... The two countries are always ready so in case of war all they have to do is deploy soldiers .
Scenario :
It was a normal day , an Israeli Merkava M2 was being fixed near the border with Norway , the suspicious Norwegian soldiers had no idea what was going on , so to scare off their opponents they fired two shells , killing an engineer , two soldiers and the tank ... the Israeli government demanded an apology but Norway refused to apologize .
So now we have the Israeli army that is preparing for an all out war against its enemy Norway , and will probably do some bombing first and then push the infantry in ... while Norway on the other hand is doing the same getting ready for the upcoming battle .
So basically Israel will be the attacking country while Norway will be the defending country and try to stop the Israeli forces , if they could do it , then the norwegian army will then attack in an attempt to occupy land .

Aifroce - 350 F-16 , including 100 new F-16I with some of the best avionics , 75 f-15 ( including new 25 F-15I ) and some other phantoms and kfirs ( about 70-100 ) so 500+ combat planes in total and more than 450+ modern fighters/bombers , cutting edge technology and highly trained pilots , amram,sidewinder,python3,4,5,Jdams,.... and any other air weapon you can imagine .
A big fleet of hellicopters with advanced Apachetes,black hawks,hueys and refuel planes , and some of the best electronic warfare planes .
Navy - 3 corvettes ,10 missile boats, 5 submarines(Dolphin class), 42 patrol boats, 6 support ships ,19,500 personnel ... and I am not sure but I've read on some sites that israel has stealth ships , but i am pretty sure that the submarines can fire missiles .
And the nukes ( though won't really help here )
Norway :
Global fire power raning - 40th
Total Population:4,691,849[2011]
Tanks/APCs - 50-100 tanks ( Leopards I assume ) , and 1000+ APCs
Airforce - 57 F-16 and 30+ Hellicopters , 1-3 electronic warfare planes , and good pilots ( couldn't find many stuff about the RNAF but it seems that they have good pilots , and good planes ... but not sure if as good as the israeli ones,better,worse ... )
navy - 5 frigates , mine clearing boats 8-10 , 6 Ula class submarines , 6 corvettes , 1 support vessels , about 4000 personnel
i couldn't find much info about the norwegian army , if you can add anything else please add it , ty .

First mistake, an X vs Y. Second mistake, using the global fire power website in any capacity. Third mistake is creating an alternate universe in which Israel and Norway are neighbours despite their forces being very focused on their respective climates and terrain being very important for any informed discussion.
That's exactly why i can't do it on my own , i am not an expert i do know few stuff but not enough , so based on what you know , what do you think ? i just gave you some info , but you are free to ignore everything and base your answer on your own knowledge .
Norway is the only muslim nation that could take on Israel

I'm not going to bother reading the OP, but the obvious conclussion to your fantasy-scenario is that Israel could win with both hands tied behind their back.
It will come down to who has the greatest strategic reserve of Blood Diamond Pants...
