    Looks like a folding monopod, it provides extra stability when shooting p.rone. In the spec sheet there's a drawing of it deployed.

    That CN 500 is a beefy 7.62mm. It looks like it must weigh a lot. I do like that muzzle brake, though.
    I wish I could buy guns from China.

    That texturing on the CN 500 looks nice same with that riot gun, not sure if that's standard or more than likely just for the display. But it looks comfortable to handle.

    Funny as China has no real need for police sniper rifles, its all for export. Except for the occasional guy takes hostage with a knife, gun crimes are none existent as its a capital offense.

    7.62mm rifle has already entered service in the police

    To stabilize the gun, no shakes!. I remember we[platoon] doing that in South Africa way back in 1980 during officer training at Infantry School with R1[FN-FAL] rifles. We also did it with the R4[Galil].
