Lets teach them on rifle training so the PLA can use it against other countries like Vietnam or the Philipines.

Might as well hand them over a bunch of ACR guns.
I wouldn't worry unless the PRC is showed how to use dual PKMs and make BDPs.

This year is the fifth iteration of AASAM and the third consecutive year that United States forces have been invited to participate. In addition to being a marksman competition AASAM is a multilateral, multinational event allowing international service members to exchange skills, tactics, techniques and procedures with their counterparts.
Its a shame the OP didn't post that.

    .
Don't worry they are/were already superbly trained by themselves.

Back in 2003-4 a Greek army delegation went to China to official visit. They were entering a camp and the Chinese had a rifle squad stand by, the Greeks thought it was for ceremonial reasons.

So the squad took the order and started firing their rifles to a fresh painted wall on the front.
When the shooting ended there you could read in the wall WELCOME GREEKS.

A PR you might say but the Greek general ahead of the delegation gave an interview when he got back deeply concerned about their capabilities.

They are serious players, let's not underestimate them.

Totally agree. We're too stuck up with ourselves thinking that the Chinese are "inferior". And that's what the Chinese want when it comes to war. The sudden outbreak of their emergence will create fear. Instead we should treat them as a viable threat - nothing less and nothing more.

Wrong - they already copied the gun a long time ago, he is just checking that the length, etc is completely correct just in case the Americans have added a new feature. Bet you the Taliban may use it later via Pakistan.

    Sun Tzu said

    I. LAYING PLANS
    (1) Which of the two sovereigns is imbued with the Moral law?
    (2) Which of the two generals has most ability?
    (3) With whom lie the advantages derived from Heaven and Earth?
    (4) On which side is discipline most rigorously enforced?
    (5) Which army is stronger?
    (6) On which side are officers and men more highly trained?
    (7) In which army is there the greater constancy both in reward and punishment?

    14. By means of these seven considerations I can forecast victory or defeat

It Pays if you take heed the advises of old folks..
Sun Tzu's a wise 2000 year old dude. He drank a lot during his time that is why he came up with these great ideas.. LOL..

Interesting how our former enemies realize how much they need our soldiering skills. Russia and now the PLA.

Why would we think this when they almost pushed us into the sea during the Korean war? This is the one nation I do not think we could defeat in a all out war.

    you are such a tool

Next time US has personnel in Russia or China or any other country, I will mock them and say how US needs the soldiering skills of these other nations.

The US will be able to defeat China. While the 2 countries are relatively on par when it comes to ground forces, the US still maintains naval and aerial superiority, which can be a huge tactical and strategic aid when it comes to ground fighting. The US also has more experience since the PLA hasn't fought a war since the 1980s.

However the war will be of heavy cost for both sides. It won't be a walk in the park like Desert Storm, that's for sure.

It would be good training. It would help us identify tactics and skills that are outdated on the modern battlefield.
