When North Korea invades? Mother of God. Sounds like a ripe farce.

Fvck CGI "Enchancement" with sandpaper! Jorge Lucas did the same thing with the 2004 DVD Release of a New Hope and it added nothing to the plot, in fact it was distracting and disrupted the general immersion.

ok I'll give you that but there is 20 or so minutes that hit the cutting room floor that I would like to see replaced (like the McDonalds looting scene)

    I dunno.
USA is looking the other way and overextended, NK has invested heavily in LCAC and WIG tech.
    It could happen.

Now that I want to see, if they put that in a re-release and don't go all CGI happy, I'll gladly pay money for that.

This 2012 Re-make with the Norks can slam into an Iceberg for all I care.

I like the original cast a lot better, these Yahoos look ridiculous.

What's wrong with you? Who doesn't like annoying little space rats and cutesy looking robots flying around all over the place when you are watching Star Wars?
    Why do you hate America?

I know a lot of the "Chinese" extras that are in the movie.

Guess they are North Koreans now, I guess they pussied out and changed it from Chinese. Now the movie makes no sense, at least China was feasible in taking over Northwestern America.

Didn't they change everything about China in the movie to some fictitious enemy?

It is going to bound to suck.

First - North Korea? Why, oh why didnīt they stick with China?
Second - what made original Red Dawn good was very well made mock-ups of Russian armour and heli. Here, they just stick with US HMMWVs with re-pained symbol. No original Chinese-slash-NK APCs or tanks.
Third - CGIs looks stupid and generally it looks like Hollywood action one-man army, blow-up everything that moves shyt.

I will rather rent the original.
