    My point exactly...

Looking to the left while kicking the ball to the right is a tactic that even kids in elementary school are aware of.

Blah, blah, feckin' blah. Slimy gits. They're probably sending the Israelis free "under-the-table" kerosene to do the job.

Ehud Barak denies KSA sent such warning to Israel:

Barak: US now shares Israel’s sense of urgency on Iran, but there are ‘differences’ on how to go forward

Defense minister denies warning received from Saudi Arabia that it would shoot down Israeli planes en route to Iran attack

Saudi Arabia is a famous example: you don't become a fighter pilot because you have good skills, but because you are a member of the elite, and your Lamborghini is not exclusive enough. After the Gulf War of 91 I have spoken quite a few western 'advisers', and they were actually all agreeing on: if you want to fly a F-15 from A to B, you probably need to hire an Arab, they do nicely. But if you want to fight with those aircrafts you have to put an American or European in those planes.
In 2002 Saudi air force f15s intercepted Israeli f-16s after they violated Saudi airspace and force one of the f-16’s to land in Saudi tabuk airbase, Saudis invested this incident in their favor and forced USA to accept transferring their f15s from dahran airbase to taburk airbase in return of releasing the Israeli pilot and returning of Israeli f16.

Also a Saudi f15 scored an aerial kill against 2 Iraqi mirage f1s during the gulf war.

The last thing Isreali aircraft need is thier aircraft tangling with saudi aircraft on the way to Iran. Jet's burn a lot of fuel, especially flying at low level to dodge radar. Fuel they need to loiter over Iranian targets and get them back to the next refueling point.

With that goes the element of surprise. Every Iranian fighter plane will be up waiting for them.

Its ifs and buts.....too many risks, and thats why i believe it will be the US and not the Isreali's.

I am curious to see the link documenting this claim too.

What's a point in building up one of worlds largest air force if any jet can fly over country and then return all the way? I'm not sure if saudi F-15s IFF allows to engage any US or Israeli aircraft... but Eurofighters probably can.

I guess if this actually occurs(highly doubtful) the Israelis will have to take out the Saudi AF. An Israeli pilot vs. a Saudi is akin to Caravaggio up against Mrs. Millers 1st grade art class.

And how do you know that? They have good recruiting process, but you can't say after 30 years if IAF is still superior, Syrians never flew F-15 so it's not good example. You just assume Kingdon spend hundred billions to put idiots into planes.

And having the might of the KSA's oil money thrown against Israel is Iran's wet dream. You may think that IAF will wipe the desert with Saudi planes, but then say hello to Iran's nuke (and KSA nuke as well).

KSA is worried, more worried about Iran than the Israelis are. They do not want to give Iran any reasons to act against them. I would venture to guess a lot of the new ME conflicts is Iran's way of taking pressure off of Iran.
