that plane looked over weight...
I can't believe they all survived this, lucky sob's. What was the cause why he lost altitude?
Were they wearing any kind of seat belts?
The NTSB report is still preliminary and subject to change - http://www.ntsb.gov/aviationquery/br...01X65804&key=1
That's some wild footage. Glad to see they survived.
Unless the engine noise blocked it all out, I didn't hear any select language (obscenities) at all during the crash, just an,"...everybody ok?"
Hope all or well.
Where did this take place?
That plane was struggling all the way, they should have turned back.

Wow that is insane
Somebody was watching from above
I hate it when somebody wrecks historic aircraft.
A Stinson 108
Glad everybody got out alive though.
Loss of Engine Power..
Speedy recovery..
Airfield elevation plus heavy weight= plane isn't going far. I'm shocked the pilot didn't abort the take off or land once airborne on the open ground. I figured once they were airborne he didn't want to turn as they'd stall for certain, simply flying level was difficult enough. Once they were over trees that was it, an inevitable crash. That plane never climbed higher than 150 feet above ground.
