Mitt Romney will announce his running mate at 8:45 a.m. ET Saturday in Norfolk, Va., Fox News confirms.
Romney will launch his "The Romney Plan For A Stronger Middle Class" bus tour after announcing his choice for vice presidential candidate, according to an official press release from the Romney campaign.
The selection comes roughly two weeks before the start of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, and gives Romney plenty of space to rally the party behind his pick before the official nomination.

news is saying it definitely is Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, 42 years old. I can see the jokes now....Romney and Ryan, R R, we thought that was for Rolls Royce, the vehicle of the rich. Oh well, he supposedly is a good speaker, which is what Obama is. Unfortunately he is not a person of color as Bobby Jindel (sp?), or Condi Rice, etc, nor is he a female, all of which would have added a dash of added interest to the campaign. Now we have whitebread and whitebread.
I just hope to goodness he is a great speaker and has a clean background and has been vetted completely from the time he was in diapers.
