    A sound bite from his speech was something like "Govenmental power comes from God and from nature" according to German news. If this is true, I can't understand how someone can vote for him. It is like the Medieval Times of the Absolute Kings all over again, who told the people their divine power came from God, that it was Gods command to rule people.

    They had it wrong. He said an individual's rights came from God and nature, not the government.

    The election gave me a bigger headache that it already has. Liberals are already hating Paul Ryan and a lot of them don't even know why. I heard a quip that Ryan is "Sarah Palin with a p3nis", which makes not a bit of sense. They just want to compare what they hate to someone else they hate with no factual basis. Palin and Ryan are not similar, at all, besides being both Republican.

    I think the left is going to have a rude awakening during the VP debates. Paul Ryan is not a backwoods-Idaho-beauty-queen-hockey-mom, he's a number cruncher who thinks on terms of mathematics. If Biden is expecting Palin to show up at his debate, he's got another thing coming.

    It's only going to be painful if you have Obama/Biden posters all over your wall. Otherwise this is going to be a cakewalk for the Republicans.

    You jokers are way underestimating Biden. He's the King of all Brainfarts, but he ain't some joker that doesn't know how the game is played. There is a difference between not knowing when to shut up and being completely ignorant, like Palin.

    Paul Ryan is presentable, switched on and fiscally aware but when it comes down it he is a sheep in wolves clothing, take a look at his support of Tarp, Auto bailout and the confiscatory tax. Apparently he has a rebuttal for all three but called out on it often enough it might just wear thin.
