Arrow WA: Libertarians want Romney excluded from ballot

    http://watchdog.org/50433/wa-liberta...d-from-ballot/

The two big parties have used their control of state legislatures to pass laws that keep smaller third parties off the ballot completely. Now the Libertarian Party of Washington State is acting to turn this law against the Repubs. Payback is a bitch.

Why are they trying to split the right? They should go after the stronger dems if they want more say in the state.

Um... I got some bad news for you; the state was going to Obama anyways. Hard. Long gone are the days of a swing Washington. The last time they went republican was Reagan.

Read the story. They cannot go after the Dems on this point, as the Dems are by far the dominant party in this state.

The LP is not "trying to split the right". Washington state is already going for Obama, and everybody knows it. What the LP is doing is highlight the grossly unfair and undemocratic election laws by turning them against one of the major parties. The goal is to show how ridiculous this law is and hopefully get it repealed. I fully support them in this.

Makes Obama/Biden fat and Happy Nov. 6th. enjoy as it elects them just as effectively as actually pulling the lever for the DNC. Maybe Janine Garofalo will congratulate them.

They're having a Tantrum since their boy didnt win, And in that way they think to punish all since they couldnt get their way. but it does show that most were never Republicans anyway, but infiltrators of dubious motivation. The Party should be glad to be rid of such treacherous members

Actually that would probably be the best thing that could happen to the Libertarian party. Neither of the big two would be blowing them kisses anymore and they'd have to join the third party. Then they could start doing things the right way, campaigning and winning at the state level, not pushing and whining and screaming every 4 years when the presidential election comes and Ron Paul isn't nominated.

The GOP would hurt from it though as it's pretty obvious their "reduce spending" "cut the budget" schtick is a hollow promise without them.

The problem with any third party is that they lean more one way than the other and always split the vote in a national election so I get the reasoning for the law. What the Libertarians need to do is put more focus on is winning local elections and less on gimmicky PR stunts. At least that will accomplish something. Who knows, they may even become a "major party".

It changes absolutely nothing in the national election. Washington state is a lock for Obama.

Wow! You are completely brain-dead. I have told you over, and over, and over, but it never sinks in. Maybe this will help....

RON PAUL RAN AS A REPUBLICAN, NOT A LIBERTARIAN. THE LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATE IS GARY JOHNSON, NOT RON PAUL.

Libertarians are registered LIBERTARIAN, not Repub, dumbass. Libertarians could not vote for Ron Paul because they cannot vote in primary elections in almost every state. The Libertarian Party selects its candidate at its convention, not by a primary election.

Whenever you post on this subject, your rationality and logic evaporate and you go just full retard every time. WTF is the matter with you?
