Citizen Shooter Saves Officer with Amazing Shooting
A friend sent me the article. I am glad Mr. Stacey was there....it could have ended very badly for the officer.

By the time it was over, the dogs, the neighbor and his girlfriend were all dead, shot with Conners 9mm. Conner then grabbed a lever action, scoped 30-30 rifle and took up a position to add a few of the responding police officers to the bad day he was having.
Sgt. Means, the first responding officer, despite his having an AR-15 was pinned down in a bad position.
Despite the distance Vic Stacey knew he had to take the clear right flank shot that he had with his 5″ barrel 357 magnum. Vic estimated he was 165 yards out.
But as you are about to hear, that was not a problem for ole Vic.
Extraordinary; itīs sad to know that some people and those dogs were killed, but it was thanks to the intervention of this man that the LEO and who knows how many more were be saved.
And fortunately, even though itīs so disputed nowadays, he had the tool to help.
That was a great read. Restores my faith in humanity a bit. RIP to the victims, and their dogs.

I don't believe 165 yards, probably meant 165 feet. This happened in a trailer park, and what trailer park is 165 yards in width?
Damn neighbourhood disputes... Escalating very fast for reasons with easy non-violent solutions.
Mr. Stacey made a very great shot ! Good job ! At least, he stopped the other guy from going further ! Elders with guns, Gran Torino style.

165 yds with not one but 5 consecutive shots, while being shot at? Either he's the luckiest son of .... on this planet or he's got some mad skills..
