    CHARLESTOWN, Mass (Aug. 19, 2012) The world's oldest commissioned warship, USS Constitution, sails under her own power. This is only the second time in 131 years traveling without help. The last time Constitution sailed was 1997. This exercise commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Constitution''s victory over the British frigate Guerriere during the War of 1812.     EASTERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY (Aug. 16, 2012) - Naval Aircrewman 1st Class Patrick Blaise, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron THREE (HSC-3), conducts a water drop during a wildfire. HSC-3 and HSC-21 are assisting CALFIRE by providing aircrews flying specially-equipped MH-60S helicopters to conduct aerial water drops against several wildfires in eastern San Diego County.     Massive Anti Japan protest in China.

    People were angry at the Japanese so they turn over their fellow Chinese citizens vehicles. Not good...and not any different than any other country on this Earth.

    Turkisj Minister Sahin was having tea with tradespeople on Cumhuriyet Street of Hakkari province during a visit on Saturday evening when a group of protesters booed at the minister and hurled stones at him.

    The minister was taken to a cafe by his guards as a precaution during the attack, while security forces fired into the air to disperse the protesting crowd. Minister Sahin was later taken to Hakkari Governor’s Office.

    Pro-Kurdish BDP’s Hakkari Deputy Adil Kurt made a press statement on Cumhuriyet Street after the incident.

    Two sergeants were killed and a soldier was injured after a military vehicle passed over a PKK mine trap in the rural area of Hakkari province…
    The mine explosion took place in Kirikdag area of rurar Hakkari in southeastern Turkey on Monday morning. Two specialist sergeants were killed and a soldier was injured after a military vehicle of Zap Army Post passed over a previously laid mine.


    The vehicle fell to the River Zap with the impact of the explosion, and left 2 specialist sergeants dead and another soldier injured.


    The PKK attack was announced with a press release from the Hakkari Governorship shortly after the incident.

    The Marines are in Kuwait as part of a 24th MEU sustainment training package. The 24th MEU is deployed with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group as a U.S. Central Command theater reserve force providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
