As for the reality that we have here now. I think I'm doing pretty well in financial preparation for what I think is headed our way. And I'm not trying to be an asshole when I say this but deep down I want California to fail, we need to fail, so we can build ourselves back from the ground up. It's going to suck for everyone else but this has to happen.
However, we do have proposition 32 on the ballot which if it passes will absolutely gut union power. The hardcore commercials are already running against it. It's a step in the right direction but we are years away from recovery and decades away from what we once were.
Seems like whether it's people or nations, real change only happens after they hit the skids.
In all honesty, I loved Cali but Bee is right. It needs to be torn down with a bulldoser and built up correctly. California should be the shining city on the hill but it's unions and politicians need to be removed. I am not talking all ra ra rebuplican bull. They need non lifetime politicians who care about the state. Also ditch the state income tax. Build a few fuel refineries in Oakland. They could use the jobs.
Legalize weed and tax the hell out of it. Lower property tax and make the military bases bigger. That is a few of my thoughts.
