I ****ing hate guys like that, if anything they hamper the cause for the 2nd amendment more than they help it. Purely just looking for attention.
Open carry MP5, really? c'mon really?
I'm a obvious 2nd amendment supporter, but I dont understand why you think carrying what looks like a Submachinegun in public would be a good idea? You KNOW your'e going to get attention and calls to the Police, and now the Police drive up and dont know if your merely talking a walk or about to do something illegal. your've increased the Officers stress level and your chances of getting shot if you do something stupid.
Kudos to the Cop dealing with 2 obvious idiots, he was very professional and he really shut them down without belittling them. He was dominating the situation from the minute he stepped out of the RMP..
I want to stab both of them.
You're right LD. The cop handled that as well as anyone could.
Even though the guy was lippy to the police they were fair, all this proved was the guy with the camera is a pleb.
He seems to have a habbit of doing it
this is him walking in a park with a AR-15...& the cops own him again!

What a douche. Is he trying to become famous and make money out of this somehow? He should be taken to see a shrink.
Idiot thinks carrying an MP5 down the street isn't reasonably suspicious behavior....
Jesus Christ. I just want to kick the moron in the nads.
It reminds me of women being topless in public being declared protective speech if it's done as part of a march to support the right of women to be topless in public.
So they (activists) just need to get a town hall permit to march in support of open carry. Then they can argue is part of their protest. This way they get to open carry regardless of the US state plus they get a cool police escort at all times (like all marches).![]()
This could probably be suited better in the Political section but meh. The guy is apparently just supporting his 2nd amendment rights by standing out on a street corner with his GSG-5 (lol), and with a camera in what mostly just IMO looks like his attempt to get a reaction by the police on video. The cop did well, very professional and calm the whole time.

I'm not a pro-police kinda guy, but that officer handled the whole situation like a champ. I'm not familiar with the rules and laws governing open carry in USA, but I doubt they forbid being stopped and inspected by police officers, to determine if you are exercising your rights within the boundaries of law.
I don't see why anyone should mouth off and complain until the police breaks their rights for open carry. What the officer did was simply to protect himself and his partner from sudden attack by a posible criminal.
I live in a country that forbids transport of firearms unless they are disassembled for such, and I completely understand that the policemen did everything with everyone's security in mind.
