MAGDALENA, JALISCO (8/22/2012).- In a gunfight between armed suspects & Municipal police officers of the Magdalena Municipal Police, Jalisco; Commander Raul hinojosa was killed along with two other fellow officers. It is reported that another 5 police officers were injured and 6 gunmen were also killed in the clash. The confrontation happened when the Magdalena police officers were investigating a report of armed gunmen in vehicles roaming the area. It is also reported that the gunmen came from the state of Nayarit.
